Cool composition, and the guitars sound great and balance well with each other! My only critisism is that while the drums match the beat and everything is time they don't cut through and balance well with the rest of your mix, and in some sections the cymbals and high hats get way too loud. I'd suggest looking at how you're programming the velocities and balancing the track levels. Other than that this is really solid man! Solid 7/10 from this gringo 🤘the guitar sounds superb

LateralKiki responds:

Thank you very much for the advice, I appreciate it very much from the heart. You don't know how good it is for my last two songs of the year, I swear I had thought of everything except the fact that I can porogram the velocities of my percussions 😅 with their fundamentals in high frequencies. I will have to make concessions with my processing capacity but I can do it.

Sounds good, and gotta say, the finish on that thing is just top notch 👌

BeyondOurEyes responds:

Thank you! It is pretty sweet looking especially in the sunlight!

Love it, sounds super tight

Chthonic-Waves responds:

Glad it sounds tight!

I love it actually, awesome composition. Mix could be a little more glued together for my ears but everything going on with the progressions here is awesome

LateralKiki responds:

Thank you very much for the feedback, this is actually a song that took me much longer to compose than to mix, I had it saved for eons on my external drive.

Not sure if it's newgrounds, your upload, or my phone but it won't let me listen to the whole thing, that said, really digging what my technology allowed me to hear!

Fate responds:

Hope you get to hear it in its entirety at some point it definitely doesn't end where it starts. Glad you enjoyed what you heard

I dig the low fi rock vibes, very 90's alt rock in the best way!

Silo99 responds:

Thank you! i appreciate you listening and the kind words!

Guitar tones sound f*cking awesome in this one man!

bipolarmunkey responds:

Believe it or not, I have 5 different tones in this one. Layered through out haha

Very relaxing, this sounds like an early 000's alt rock hit in the best possible way

Bosa responds:

that’s what i was going for lol, thank you!

This is sick, at times it reminds me of a darker version of I want you by the Beatles. Really dig the tones and sounds you put together here

LexRodent responds:

It's lacking on the psychedelic area by comparison, but still, I take this very flattering reference. Thanks for listening man.

Cool composition! But personally I'd play with the velocities on Odin a little more. It's a cool program but I find it needs a little help. If you really dig using midi guitars you should check out a tutorial on youtube from Miami from Joey Sturgis Tones. He gives really great info on how to get it sounded even better! Great song!

Gixin responds:

Thanks for the advice! I haven't dug too much into it yet but I'm gonna look into messing with it more for my next metal cover!
